Glorifying God Through Contemporary Biblical Fine Art

February 1 - February 28, 2026

February 2026

“Covered & Kept”

Covered & Kept is an online Virtual Reality (VR) exhibition seeking visual artists to explore, interpret, and express how God of the Holy Bible covers, keeps, and protects His people. This immersive exhibition invites artists to translate biblical truth into visual form—revealing divine refuge, protection, preservation, guidance, and covenantal care.

Through painting, illustration, photography, mixed media, sculpture (digitally captured), digital art, and experimental visual forms, artists are encouraged to reflect on God as shield, shelter, keeper, and refuge, and to consider both personal and communal experiences of being held by Him.

This VR exhibition will allow viewers to walk through the artwork in a sacred digital space, encountering scripture, story, and visual testimony together.

Curatorial Theme

The Bible repeatedly affirms that God is our protector and keeper—covering us in times of danger, uncertainty, growth, and transformation.

Artists are invited to explore themes such as:

  • Divine protection and refuge

  • God’s presence as covering and shield

  • Being kept through trials, transitions, and seasons

  • Covenant, wings, shelter, shadow, armor, and light

  • Spiritual safety, peace, and belonging

  • Seen vs. unseen protection

  • Generational and spiritual covering

Interpretations may be literal, symbolic, abstract, narrative, or conceptual.

Scriptural inspiration (not limited to):

  • Psalm 91:1–4 — “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty…”

  • Psalm 121:5–8 — “The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade at your right hand…”

  • Isaiah 41:10 — “Do not fear, for I am with you… I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

  • Psalm 32:7 — “You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble…”

  • Psalm 5:11–12 — “For You bless the righteous, O Lord; You cover him with favor as with a shield.”

  • Ruth 2:12 — “…a full reward be given you by the Lord… under whose wings you have come to take refuge.”

  • 2 Thessalonians 3:3 — “But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.”

Artists may reference one or more scriptures directly or respond to the theme broadly.

Covered & Kept is not simply an exhibition—it is a testimony space. This VR experience is designed to minister, encourage, and visually proclaim the faithfulness of God as protector and keeper. We believe art can become a sanctuary, a shelter, and a declaration of truth.
